Liberia

Liberia #1 is printed on thick paper. #13 is printed on thinner paper. #7 is printed on paper even thinner than #13, but it is easily recognized by the extra frame line around the stamp. Most stamps of this design that are not #7 with the extra frame line, and are thicker than .0032" are #1's. Most thinner than .0032" are #13, but there is some overlap. Liberia's first issues really need expertization.

(3.) The bottom portion of the spear is not in line with the top portion.
(4.) The top of the rock behind the figure is level with the top of the shoulder.
(5.) Mizen boom reaches the circle.
(6.) The spear point almost reaches the circle.
(7.) The space between the top of the word "Liberia" and the shading below the seated figure measures .7 mm.

(2.) There is an extra outer frame line 1 mm away from the other frame lines.

(5.) There are vertical wavy shading lines in the corner spandrels.
