Wadhwan, #F1, Type 1 Forgery

Wadhwan

(1.) Sun in the shield is squished in at the sides causing an oval shaped appearance rather than round.
(2.) Lion's heads have flat tops.
(3.) Shading in the lions is mostly dots.

Wadhwan

(1.) There is a sort of a "J" in the top left corner.
(2.) This copy is imperf but most copies are perforated.
(3.) This copy has writing across the face not normally present.

(1.) Irregular perfs. This example is gauge 11.4 x 10.8 x 10.5 x 10.4.
(2.) Extremely heavy shading on the chest of the left lion.

(1.) Imperforate.
(2.) Thin, glossy paper (.0022").
(3.) Upper foot of the left lion is nearly missing.
(4.) Ball ornament between the left lion's legs is an inverted "U" rather than being circular.
